SPRING-FORD SUMMER HOURS
In an ongoing effort to benefit from cost savings on utilities, the Spring-Ford Area School District will operate on a four-day workweek during the summer months. This operational strategy is expected to save the district tens of thousands of dollars in energy and utility costs.
 
Spring-Ford Area School District employees are working the same number of hours a week, but doing so in four days rather than five.
 
Spring-Ford Area School District Summer Hours
Monday - 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday - 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday - 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
ThursdaY - 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday - Closed

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Important message to parents of Kindergarten students:
- All incoming kindergarten students must be five years of age by August 31, 2016
- If your child is entering kindergarten in September 2016, and you have not yet registered your child for school, it is important that make a registration appointment as soon as possible.
- Parents of Kindergarten students will receive a letter the week of July 18, 2018 indicating an AM or PM session assignment
- You may log into your Skyward account to check your students schedule, homeroom and transportation information after 4 p.m. on August 19, 2016
BACK TO SPRING-FORD PARENT NIGHT
Many Spring-Ford elementary schools, secondary schools and sports clubs/music groups are supported by a parent organization, which sponsors various social and fundraising activities throughout the year.
 
If you are interested in becoming involved in a parent organization, contact your school office for more details. Additional information can be found online at spring-ford.net, click on “For Parents” then “Parent Organizations.”
 
You are invited to join us on August 9, from 4 to 6 p.m., for the first Back-to-Spring-Ford Parent Night! Parents can meet their H&S or PTO representative, learn about volunteer opportunities, gather important Back-to-School information, enter to win prizes, complete your Volunteer Clearances, learn about athletic registration, meet with the districts Curriculum and Instruction team, and much more!

MCNELLY STADIUM TRACK UPDATE
The All-Weather Track, located in McNelly Stadium, will be closed to the public starting June 13, 2016 until mid-August.
June 13-16, 2016:         Stadium and Track closed for graduation setup
June 17-mid-August:   Maintenance and construction to the current track
